our customers' children
One year on … we're still not perfect. And we don't presume to say we ever will be. We've got better, though. Thanks to you, with you and for our children.
A few weeks ago, we took Alyah, Jules, Laura and Léo, some of our customers' children,
away to discuss the progress we could all make with our clothes.

To begin with, there are raw materials such as cotton. How can we ensure that it's grown in a way that is as kind as possible to the planet and to people? At Tape à l'oeil, 37% of the cotton we use is organic. And to explain it to the children, we took them to Pic Vert farm, to meet Jelle, a committed organic farmer.
customer of the Montivilliers store
With Benoît, the children put their clothes through the kind of comfort tests you'd expect from the most intrepid survivors on an island (what do you think?) The objective: to test the quality of the finishes and materials under the most extreme conditions, especially their comfort and strength.
And they measured, pinned, cut and sewed, … until their dream overalls materialised under the foot of their sewing machine! What pride you could see in their eyes! ‘It's a lot of work, and I realise how much work it takes to make a garment.’ Jules
The pattern, the one the kids from Edition #009 followed to make their dungarees, is here for you too.
